Jed R. Zerna is a volunteer photojournalist at Negros Oriental State University Bais Campus I. His background in Information Technology influenced his mindful and competitive approach. Jed is fueled by his passion for understanding the nuances. He considers himself a ‘forever student’, eager to both build on his academic foundations in information technology and stay in tune with the latest digital strategies through continued coursework. His hunger for knowledge and determination to turn information into action has contributed to his most recent achievement during his study, where he led and managed a Web Development seminar on September 12th 2018 at Negros Oriental State University Campus I of Bais City. Meanwhile, he vastly improved the productivity of his team by implementing strategic project management methods. He also contributed a running application which is Library System based on desktop application at the same school mentioned above, where all students who enter the library will just log in using their student ID instead of writing down their personal information and purposes. Additionally, the system can generate a library ID in case some students lose their university ID. With his hard work as a student, he successfully achieved that project less than a month. Jed believes mindfulness in the workplace is key to success – a tenet he lives out through his interests in volunteering, traveling, art & designing, music, video gaming, writing, photography, nature and outdoor activities.
